It seems as though America is headed down the Primrose path to socialism at break-neck speed. All ears have been waiting upon the Obama administration and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner for the next shoe to drop on current economic policy and the ramifications it will have on free enterprise. However, what some have mentioned, but has seemed to have been mostly ignored is the "Chicagoizing" of the national political system.

BANK NATIONALIZATION

Timothy Geithner presented his plan today before the Senate sub-committee hearing and it floored many in the room. He presented his plan to nationalize not only banks in jeopardy, but banks and businesses that could become jeopardized due the the current economic crisis. I must say it was pretty broad announcement and somewhat unprecedented. The big issue I see with this sweeping nationalization of banks and business craze is the potential for malfeasance amongst the democrats and the party hacks which will inevitably control the nation's[or at least a part of the countries wealth]. The potential for it to become a giant Ponzi-scheme is enormous. Democrats can use the newly nationalized banks as a central clearing house to bundle and launder all that elicit campaign cash that democrats have been so infamously linked to. Remember Al Gore and "No controlling authority"? How about Hillary in the 2008 primaries and all that funny money she raised from Chinese dishwashers. It was later revealed that Norman Hsu was the main culprit who was later caught by the feds on a train headed to Washington disheveled and babbling. Guess he got the midnight summons from Hill and the boys? And who can forget Obama's unprecedented massive $600,000,000 warchest he accumulated during the campaign. Can anyone say George Soros? It was rumored that all the credit card donations to Obama's campaign foregoing the VeriSign security feature was well funded by Sorros' many tentacled 527 groups. Do you think the Dem constituency donated all that money. Not a chance. Obama's Auntie Zeituni Onyango didn't have two nickles to rub together. Nationalization will help avoid those "pesky" campaign finance laws altogether.

GIVE ACT

The administration's plan to reauthorize and fund a new and invigorated Americorps is in the words of Michelle Malkin "a 6 billion dollar boondoggle and legislative Trojan Horse". She's right. GIVE will be a funding apparatus for well heeled left-wing apparatchiks that espouse the statist party line. Can you guess who's at the top of the list? ACORN. An organization under investigation for voter fraud in 36 states. Obama will have his Utopian version of a watered down "Hitler Youth" 250,000 strong equipped with uniforms and re-education material which will be assigned to "camps", I'm sorry "campuses" in local community areas. Now I know we had the Peace Corps under Kennedy, and the original Americorps under Clinton, however, the scary part is that they're debating whether it will be voluntary or compulsory service for all eligible aged people. This will ensure the administration a permanent agitation and propaganda wing via George Soros and the "kleptocrats". Is there any doubt to Soros's own claim that he collaborated with the Nazis during his youth. Guess who made 1.1 billion shorting the U.S. dollar?

A "THUGACRACY"

One thing is for sure and it seems as though the Democrats are not only achieving their visions of socialist revolution, but if they succeed it guarantees a stranglehold on progressive power for years to come. Of course, you might say if the plan is successful any party in power will reap the benefits of unfettered access to the banking system. This is true, but for now the democrats will have full court advantage locking up the system and ensuring barred access to Republicans for years to come. That's why they created the GIVE Act. This Ponzi-scheme will make Bernie Maidoff look like child's play.
